1. Accepted Payment Methods
We accept the following payment methods at checkout:
- Credit & debit cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Diners Club, Discover, and UnionPay
- Digital wallets: Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay
- PayPal
- Klarna — buy now, pay later (where available)
The payment options available to you may vary depending on your device and location. All available methods are displayed at checkout before you complete your order. When you choose a buy-now-pay-later option such as Klarna, your agreement is with that provider and subject to their terms and eligibility checks.
2. Currency
All prices on our website are listed and charged in pounds sterling (GBP, £) unless stated otherwise. If you are paying with a card issued in another currency, your bank or card provider may apply a currency conversion and charge a foreign transaction fee. Any such fees are set by your provider and are outside our control.
3. When Payment Is Taken
Payment is taken in full at the time you place your order. Your order is confirmed only once payment has been successfully authorised. You will receive an order confirmation email once your payment has been processed.
4. Payment Security
Your security is important to us. All payments are processed through a secure, encrypted checkout that is PCI-DSS compliant. We do not store your full card details on our servers payment information is handled directly by our trusted payment providers. Your sensitive payment data is encrypted in transit to protect it during the transaction.
5. Pricing & Taxes
We take care to ensure all prices are accurate. Prices are shown in GBP and, where applicable, include or display any taxes in line with the requirements of your delivery destination. For orders shipped outside the United Kingdom, import duties, taxes, or customs fees may apply on arrival and are the responsibility of the recipient, as set out in our Shipping Policy.
6. Authorisation & Declined Payments
All payments are subject to authorisation by your card issuer or payment provider. If a payment is declined, your order will not be processed. Common reasons include incorrect card details, insufficient funds, or your bank's fraud-prevention checks. If you experience repeated issues, please contact your bank in the first instance, or reach out to us at support@viltara.com and we'll do our best to help.
7. Pricing Errors
In the rare event that a product is listed at an incorrect price due to a technical or human error, we reserve the right to cancel or refuse the order, even if it has been confirmed and payment taken. If this happens, we will notify you promptly and issue a full refund of any amount charged.
8. Fraud Prevention
To protect our customers and our business, orders may be subject to verification and fraud-prevention checks before they are processed. We reserve the right to cancel and refund any order we reasonably believe to be fraudulent or unauthorised.
